Fatigue
Fatigue is one of the most common and frustrating symptoms of Parkinson's. It can occur even after a full night of sleep and may affect concentration, motivation, and physical stamina.
Medication Timing
Many Parkinson's medications must be taken at specific times to control symptoms effectively. Delayed or missed doses can lead to worsening symptoms or "off" time.
Fluctuating Symptoms
Symptoms can change throughout the day. Some people experience periods when medication works well followed by times when symptoms return.
Sleep Disruptions
Sleep disorders are common in Parkinson's and may include insomnia, restless legs, REM sleep behavior disorder, and frequent waking during the night.
Cognitive & Emotional Challenges
Changes in attention, memory, anxiety, and mood can occur alongside physical symptoms.
Adapting Daily Routines
Many people living with Parkinson's develop strategies to conserve energy, pace activities, and maintain independence.
